How Often East Valley Homes Need Cleaning
Most East Valley homeowners — across Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, Mesa, San Tan Valley, and Florence — benefit from cleaning every 2–3 months. Arizona’s climate creates conditions that dirty windows faster than most states:
Dust season (March–April)
Dry conditions lift fine particulate from desert soil and construction sites. A single windy afternoon can coat glass that was spotless the day before.
Spring pollen
Citrus, olive, and desert shrubs release heavy pollen loads from February through May. It settles on glass and sticks to any moisture, creating a yellow-green film.
Monsoon season (June–September)
Each haboob and storm carries dirt, mud, and debris that bonds to glass as it dries. Post-monsoon is consistently the worst window condition of the year for most homeowners.
Year-round desert dust
Even outside peak seasons, the East Valley’s arid environment deposits fine dust continuously. Homes near undeveloped land or active construction accumulate it faster.
What to Expect During Your Appointment
Most appointments take one to three hours depending on home size and window count. Here’s how a typical visit goes:
- 1
Arrival and walk-through
We arrive on time and walk through the home with you to confirm which windows are included and note any areas of concern — hard water staining, storm damage, or hard-to-reach panes.
- 2
Screen removal
All screens are carefully removed and labeled to ensure they go back in the correct frames. They're cleaned separately before reinstallation.
- 3
Exterior glass
We clean all exterior panes using professional-grade squeegees and cleaning solution. Hard water deposits and oxidation are treated before the final wipe.
- 4
Interior glass
Each interior pane is cleaned streak-free. We lay protective coverings on the surfaces below each window and work carefully around window treatments and nearby furniture.
- 5
Frame wipe-down
Window frames are wiped down to remove dust and buildup, leaving a clean, finished edge around every pane.
- 6
Screen reinstallation and final inspection
Screens are reinstalled in their correct frames. We do a final walk-through with you to confirm every window meets our streak-free standard.
What Our Customers Say
Chris did a great job on the outside of my windows. He's nice too which was a bonus. I plan to recommend him to people in our community!

I was having new sun screens installed and wanted clean windows inside and out. I was referred to Chris by CWS and they coordinated getting the windows cleaned and shades installed at the same time. Everything went smooth. Chris arrived on time, was very courteous and professional. He took his time to make sure all the windows looked great. Couldn't be happier. I used to wash my windows myself and now that I am getting older my window washing days are drawing to a close. Now that I have found Chris his reasonable prices make the decision to give up window washing easier. I like to use local workers as much as possible and he appears to be a nice, young family man. I highly recommend Chris for your window washing needs.

We couldn't be happier with the job! Our front and back of the house look amazing, and our windows have never been so clean. He was professional, punctual, thorough, and paid great attention to detail. It's obvious he takes pride in his work, and the results speak for themselves. Everything looks fresh and spotless. If you're looking for someone reliable who does excellent work, I highly recommend him. We'll definitely be using his services again!

Amazing work and exceptional customer service by Chris at Good Lookin’ Windows! He was quick to come out and do the job with extra effort and shiny clean windows. We had a painter here so he wasn’t able to complete the job so he made a second trip out to finish. Extra effort was definitely made. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions
What does a window cleaning service include?
We offer two options. Exterior Window Cleaning covers exterior glass, with screen cleaning and a frame wipe-down included. Interior & Exterior Window Cleaning adds interior glass, and also includes screen cleaning and a frame wipe-down. We do not offer track cleaning. Every pane is cleaned streak-free.
How often should Arizona homeowners have their windows cleaned?
Every 2–3 months is ideal for most East Valley homes. Arizona's dust season, spring pollen, and monsoon residue accumulate faster than in most states. Homes near desert land, active construction, or with west-facing windows often benefit from more frequent visits.
Do I need to do anything to prepare before my appointment?
No preparation is needed. We bring all equipment and supplies. If you have blinds or curtains near windows you'd like us to clean, leaving them open is helpful but not required — we can work around them.
How long does a typical window cleaning appointment take?
Most residential appointments take between one and three hours depending on the size of the home, the number of windows, and their current condition. We'll give you a more specific time estimate when we assess your home.
Is Reclaimed Exteriors licensed and insured?
Yes. We carry full liability insurance on every job. You can book with confidence knowing your home and property are protected.
How do I get a price for my home?
We provide free, no-obligation estimates tailored to your home's size, window count, and condition. Request yours online or call us directly — there's no commitment required.
Ready for Streak-Free Windows?
Free estimate, no obligation — most homeowners hear back the same business day.
